My attempt at Races!!!!

Over the past few months I have been training for a triathlon. It has been the most amazing experience. I have been training with a group of women from the YMCA i have been attending called the Tri-girls. It is a mixture of all types of women. FYI- i am the youngest but defiantly the most out of shape. But anyway we finally had our race in Smithfield VA this past weekend ironically on my birthday and I finished without stopping one bit. 300 meter swim, 10 mile bike ride and then a 5k. It was an amazing experience and now I am addicted. Three of the 15 women out of our group placed. Not me, of course, but I cam in 10th out of 25 for beginners. Can't complain about that one. Shelley's Visit 2009

We had the great pleasure of having billy's mom come out for a visit this past week. She spent a whole week with us and also helped billy out for his first whole weekend by himself(except for mom) with all three kids. I went out of town for a bachelorette weekend in annapolis with no kiddos. Anyway she came out to visit and stay with billy and the kids and we had an awesome time!!!!! Thank you Shelley. You are amazing. P.S. she was the one who finally got Finnley to take the bottle, so that milk machine could go out of town. YEAH!!!!! Enjoy the pics at shutterfly!!!!

What we are up to!!!

Billy and the girls. So i finally updated some pics, not many because right now I am having a hard time taking any. I swear the third kid gets screwed sometimes. Anyway, things are good here. Busy busy. Saturday i am running the Shamrock 8k which i have been training for but I am still really nervous. I am doing a triatholon on April 4 so i have been training here with a group for that. A lot of work but very rewarding. The kids are great, chip is doing soccer and t-ball and lola, well lola is still dancing and singing her heart out. Watch the fun video, you will love it. Finnley is giving us a run for our money already. She has totally denied every attempt at the bottle, so things are becoming a little difficult for us. Any suggestions???

We finally got our assignment!!!!

To all who did not know, billy has ETS the Army and is now on terminal leave. We are living in Virginia in a itty bitty 2 bedroom apartment right down the street from my parents. He has 90 days terminal leave built up so he will be here until May 7th. We just found out that he got C-130 to Clearwater Florida. Pretty exciting stuff. We totally thought we were going to get stationed here in E. City but obviously God had other plans. So basically billy gets commissioned on May 6th and then he will leave for Florida shortly after. The kids and I will follow in August after my sister has her baby. We are not sure where we are going to live, I have been trying to narrow schools down since Chip and Lola will be attending soon. But over all we are pretty excited about this transition. Billy will be around a lot more and no long deployments. Plus we have now decided that lola hates shoes and clothes, so somewhere warm is probably our best bet with her. Right now I am still looking for significant parts to download new pics from the camera to the MAC so unfortunately no new pics. Check back later.........

Finnley's Bath

So I have been really bad about taking pics of Finnley. So I am far behind in my scrapbook as well as posting pics of her. But we finally found a way that she does not mind taking a bath. In the sink!!! I hope she doesn't grow that fast since she won't be able to fit if she does.

Christmas in Virginia 2008

We have been very fortunate to spend Christmas in Virginia this year. The kids made out, and Santa was gracious all around. We hope all of you had a great Holiday and a Blessed New Year.
