Gone for 6 1/2 weeks

Sorry friends and family, we were out of town to Virginia Beach for the whole month of July and part of August for vacation. We had a great time and had the opportunity to see and visit lots of family and friends. I had a small accident that landed me in the hospital for 4 days, (basically, I passed out in the airport, fell and ended up going into labor with a placenta abbruption.) Everything is okay now, and the baby is doing good. Chip had the opportunity to participate in a Surf camp where he learned all the basics and then some from some pretty amazing teachers. Let's just say he is hooked now and cannot wait to get back in the water. He also got to go to Bible camp, the same one Rachel and I attended when we were kids. After 4 days of no teeth brushing, drinking sweet tea at every meal and not having mom and dad around Chip decided camp was his favorite part of vacation. Imagine that right!!!  Lola kind of went with the flow while we were there, just enjoying Nana and Papa's attention and all of her new friends. Let's just say we all had a great time but like all great things they had to come to an end when we had to travel back to AZ so Chip could start 1st grade. Check out our Vacation photos using the Shutterfly link. (I will warn you, there are a lot of pictures!!!)

One last thing, william started 1st grade two weeks ago and absolutely loves his teacher. She is really up his alley.  He is playing Soccer and Football this fall and I guess we will see which one he sticks with.(Mom is voting for Soccer) Lola is trying to get used to attention from me and not everyone else under the sun. Hopefully she will start Dancenastics shortly, to give us both a break. Billy is doing great. He is trying to get used to not being a bachelor again, and is really looking forward to his change of command in September. As for me, I am just trucking along, counting down the days till baby number 3 comes. According to my calendar, 8 weeks and counting. We will keep you posted on that as it comes.
