Halloween 2008

We were released from the hospital on Friday October 31, 2008. So to say the least we still had to make sure everyone was dressed and ready for trick or treat. Billy and Chip went to a Halloween Party and then came back home to pass out candy. Lola, Finnley and I stayed home and passed out candy to all the neighborhood kids. Chip was a Jedi, Anniken Skywalker and Lola was a Duck. Both looked really cute, oh and Finnley was a Pumpkin. We were so tired and busy that night, but loved every second of it. Enjoy our Halloween pics at Shutterfly.

Baby Finnley Marie is Born!! Thank Goodness!!!

Hello family and friends. I know you all were expecting pictures right away, but....well having three children and packing an entire household is a little crazy. Let me start from the beginning. 3 weeks prior to Finnley's arrival, Billy and I decided that it would be beneficial  to pack the entire house top to bottom and get ready for a move in December. Crazy, I know! But we are almost complete and no accidents yet. Anyway, So I went in last week for my 39 week check up and Dr. Silva informed me that I had gone from 31/2 cent. dilated back to 1 1/2. Ah what, I did not even know that could happen, but it can. So as I began to sulk, my doc said hey your 39 weeks do you want to be induced. Of course I said "ah, hell yeah". So he said okay we will see you Thursday morning October 30 at 5am for a baby. It was so easy it was scary. So 5am came early Thursday morning and Billy and I were excited and nervous all in one. They broke my water at 9am and Finnley popped out at 10:55am. It was actually the fastest delivery of any of my others and the nurse was very surprised it all happened that soon. She came out weighing 7 pounds 12 ounces and 20 1/2 inches long. Much smaller then we thought she would be but beautiful as ever. I took me a couple of hours to name her but Finnley is what fit.
She is a really good baby, doing the newborn thing of eating, sleeping and pooping. The kids are great with her, of course William took on the roll of Big Brother again, no problem. He loves her and comforts her and wants to kiss her all the time. Lola is really taking it all in better then I thought she would. She is very motherly, wanting to be right there when I change diapers or nurse. Which is a whole new experience for her. She is amazed of the whole boob thing. She went to her Dad the other night and said, "Dad, let me eat your boob." It was pretty hilarious. But over all they are both doing great accepting Finnley into our family.
Billy is doing awesome. Taking the whole new Dad thing seriously, if you get a chance ask him about the old lady at Walmart incident.
We are finally full and happy. Our family fees complete like everyone that is supposed to be here is and we are very grateful and blessed with everyday and every moment. Take a look at some the pics at Shutterfly, from the hospital of Finnley and the kids, The big one, that is me, heheheheheh. We appreciate all the support, prayers and love during the pregnancy and cannot wait to introduce Finnley Marie to all of you.
