Chip's 8th Birthday

So i am kind of going out of order the way things really happen around here but at least you get the jist of things. My life is way to busy to have to worry about whether my blog is chronically in order. But anyway, Chip turned a Whopping 8 years old this year and for his birthday i let him invite a few of his friends to Adventure Island (which is an amusement park here) and have a sleepover. But the biggest challenge this year was i was solo doing all this. Billy was deployed so me at an amusement park by myself with all the kiddos....... was well a day to remember!!!!

Labor day weekend in Destin 2010

Over Labor day Weekend we drove a monster 6 1/2 hours to Topsail Preserve in Destin Florida. We met some of our amazing old Army friends and had a blast of a weekend, swimming, roasting marshmallows and for the guys scaring the kiddos with scary stories!!!! School has finally started!!!!

Yesterday my 8 year old started 3rd grade.....blows my mind how big he is getting!!!! And of course lola started pre-k again, even though she tries to convince everyone she's in 6th grade!!!!

Boat Pics

Good friends of ours here in Florida own a boat and we have had the pleasure of spending a lot of time on it with them. The kids love it, we take it out to an island and spend the day playing at the beach. Finnley is now obsessed with boats!!!!!
